The Seven Mountain Prophecy

Hello! =)
My name is Amanda, I’m a lover of Jesus, he’s my savior and I trust on him with all of my heart. I am also a youth activist, being part of a brazilian NGO called Engajamundo.
I am writing this article because I want to confess some thoughts: sometimes my “activist view” chocked with my “christian view”.
Until one day (04/04/2020 🙌🏾), I discovered the book The Seven Mountain Prophecy, wrote by Johnny Enlow. THIS IS THE BEST BOOK EVER! After reading, I changed my worldview and I decided to share my insights :D
JESUS IS ENOUGH!
As a believers, we can lean into the presence of our Father, satisfy ourselves in His love and find purpose in His son! We need simply be with Him, listen His lovely words and enjoy the Holy-Spirit company.
Dear reader, always prioritize personal intimacy with God! The more we know who Jesus is, the more he reveals who we are. Every Christian is called to be an influencer, this command is related to “The Great Commission”.
“Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28: 18–20)
Well, let’s talk about the book:
According to Enlow, society has 7 mountains of influence:
- Media
- Government
- Education
- Economy
- Religion
- Celebration
- Family
Powers speaks of Government; riches speaks of Economy; wisdom speaks of Education; strength speaks of Family; honor speaks of religion; glory speaks of Celebration (arts and Entertainment); and blessing speaks of Media.
Jesus gave an important command: “Go, therefore and discipline all nations!” This is our unfinished business, our Promised Land that is yet to be taken.
Every believer needs to understand his/her work is not a “secular” calling, but rather a God-assigned mission. Listen the good news: God is calling his children to transform the Earth! The Holy-Spirit will give strategies that would blow the world’s mind and will make his people get to the top of these mountains!
WOOOOOW! HOW CAN I START?
The world changed a lot and most of the people are unhappy with the status quo, wanting a quick and extreme shift away from what we’ve known. The sons and the daughters of God are responsible to fill the Earth with His glory. We need to see how is in heaven and reproduce this reality on Earth!
To have success we need abundance, power and the presence of the living God. It’s our mission to share the wonderful truth of the redemptive work Christ did on the cross, spliting the message of knowing Him as a Savior!
The main point is to remember that is not a physical but also a spiritual battle! Prayer must precede and accompany whatever strategy God gives. When we will metanoeo, He will begin to reveal secrets and mysteries that can fast-foward His work.
ARE YOU READY?
God wants every single person participating, His wishes are for every nation to live under His provision. He delights in providing for His children. The real treasure is not in the Earth, but is found on Jehovah-Jireh, who care those who trust in Him.
Dear Reader, you don’t have to be inside of the church to manifest the presence of God. When the Holy Spirit comes in power, His manifestations don’t feel religious — BUT THEY DO BRING A DIMENSION OF HEAVEN TO EARTH!
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)
